BOOKING POLICIES
Appointment Booking
To secure your appointment, a deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be deducted from your final balance on the day of your service.
Once confirmed, deposits are non-refundable, including if you change your mind about the service or style.
Deposits may be transferred to a new appointment only if at least 72 hours’ notice is provided.
For first-time clients, we recommend allowing extra time for a thorough consultation to discuss your hair goals, history, and preferences.
Pricing Policy
All service prices are “from” and are subject to change depending on hair length, thickness, and the time required to achieve your desired result.

We always recommend a complimentary in-salon consultation before your appointment to provide a more accurate quote and ensure the best results.
Appointment Confirmation & Changes
All appointment changes, cancellations, or rescheduling must be made directly through the salon — either by phone, in person, or via our online booking system.
Messages sent through social media may not be monitored for scheduling changes.
All appointments must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the scheduled time.
Unconfirmed appointments may be cancelled automatically, and the deposit forfeited.
For online bookings, valid contact information and payment details are required.
Hair District reserves the right to cancel or refuse any incomplete, invalid, or misleading bookings at our discretion.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We understand life can be unpredictable, but we kindly ask for at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations made within 72 hours will result in the loss of deposit.

No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booked service.

Clients who cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to attend without contact may be required to prepay future appointments in full.

Frequent no-shows or late cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your service, and your deposit may be forfeited.
We’ll always do our best to accommodate you, but respecting time ensures fairness for all clients and stylists.
Service Adjustments (Rework Policy)
Your satisfaction means everything to us.
If you have any concerns about your service, please contact us within 7 days of your original appointment. We’ll assess and make any necessary adjustments.
After this period, any changes will be considered a new booking and charged accordingly.
Change of Mind
Once an appointment is booked, deposits are non-refundable for change-of-mind decisions.
If you’re considering a major change, we recommend booking a complimentary consultation beforehand to ensure your chosen service is right for you.
Refund Policy (Products Only)
We offer replacements or exchanges for faulty products in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

Proof of purchase is required.

Returns for change of mind are not accepted.
Some items may need to be processed directly through the supplier’s warranty system.
Online & Payment Security
Your personal and payment details are handled securely in compliance with industry standards.
By booking online or in-salon, you agree that your contact and payment details may be securely stored for managing appointments, deposits, and future bookings.

Behaviour & Respect
Hair District is a family-friendly, professional environment.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone displaying disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour toward staff or clients.

HAIR LENGTH GUIDE
Selecting the right length ensures accurate timing, pricing, and the best results for your colour, blonding, or treatment service.

SHORT: Above the chin to just below the ears. Perfect for pixie cuts, cropped styles, and short bobs. Quickest service time and minimal product use.

MEDIUM: Below the chin to shoulder level. Includes classic bobs and collar length cuts. Standard service time and product use.
​
SHOULDER: Length At or just past the shoulders. Slightly more time and product for full coverage and blending.
​
LONG: Below the shoulders to above the bra strap. Extended time and product use for dimensional, seamless colour.
EXTRA LONG : At or past the bra strap (including mid-back and beyond, or very thick hair). Longest service time and highest product use to ensure full saturation and perfect finish. TIP: If you’re unsure which category your hair fits, choose the longer option to ensure your stylist has enough time for perfect results.
